BIOGRAPHY
Lief Bound (He/They)
Lief has been a rope Switch with over a decade of experience. They got their start in the Boston rope scene attending monthly rope jams.
They have attended many conventions including
Fetish Fair Flea, Bound in Boston, Wicked Women, FIRE, and Kinky Con. These large scale events gave them a broad rope education that influenced their early rope heavily.
Once moving to Los Angeles in 2018, they started teaching rope and had the opportunities to teach at TieHaus in Long Beach, Devil Mask Society in Downtown LA, and Voxbody in Oakland.
Outside of Los Angeles, Lief has also taught at Snowbound, Tethered Together, and The Woodshed.

Teaching has lead to beautiful performances with their co-teacher and rope bottom Icky (He/They). Together they have performed around the globe on some of the largest bondage stages the world has to offer.
​

In the present, They teach private lessons, offer private tying sessions, and attend many local events in the Queer Kink Community in their local city of San Francisco, CA.

They also create queer kinky art with deeper meaning and have every intention of taking that further and live doing performance art.

"Rope is everything to me. I think about it all the time. It inspire me, it makes me feel safe, it makes me feel seen, it makes me feel strong, it makes me feel connected. I want to share that passion with as many people as I can. I feel like as a queer and trans person I represent a rope top that we don’t see often but need to see more of in a leadership role and I am so ready to take that on with respect and grace.

Emotion inspires me. Genuine connection inspires me. Trust inspires me. I generally love to teach classes surrounding an idea or emotion. where rope is the connection between two people. Where rope helps create a feeling, elicit an emotion. I want rope to help people go deeper emotionally, connect with authentically. "
Bamboo Bound (She/Her)
Bamboo started working for Lief when she was only eight weeks old and has been a steady and integral part of the House of Bound experience for the last five years.
She oversees the welcoming committee greeting everyone that comes over for a lesson and session with excitement and snorts. She usually greets Lief's clients with a toy and helps folks settle in before the rope comes out.
While lessons and sessions commence, Bamboo takes a nap and gives everyone lots of room to learn and experience rope with Lief while offering the occasional snore in the background.
If you happen to be coming to house of bound and get tied, Bamboo is also head of the aftercare department. After five years of experience, this canine intuitively knows when a rope scene is over and is there for cuddles, pets, and love.

Of course if you're not a dog person for any reason Bamboo doesn't have to be present for your visit but it is a home she lives in so its important to know this for allergy reasons when visiting House of Bound.

If you haven't been to House of Bound yet, this may seem silly. However, to anyone that has spent time learning rope with Lief they would say that Bamboo is an integral part of the House of Bound experience and she is very excited to meet you when you visit.
